** What is share market.


Share market is where buying and selling of share happens. Share represents a unit of ownership of the company from where you bought it.
The share is source for companies to raise funds and for investors to buy part-ownership in growing business and grow their wealth.
A shareholder, an investor earns a part of the

** Why company sells it shares to the public.

A company requires capital or money for its expansion, development, etc. and for this reason it Raises money from public. The process by which company issues shares is called initial public offer (IPO).



Two kinds of share market

1. Primary market
2. Secondary market

1. Primary market-
• A company enters the primary market to raise funds.
It is the primary market that a company gets registerd
to issue shares to the public and rise money.
• Companies generally get listed on the stock exchange 
through the primary market route.
• In case a company is selling shares for the first time,
It is called an Initial Public Offering or IPO, 
after which the company becomes public.

2. Secondary market-
• The secondary market is the market where 
Already listed companies trade/sell stocks.
• An investor buys shares in the secondary market
At its current price.
• The shares bought in the primary market can 
Be sold in the secondary market.

      BSE- Bombay Stock Exchange.

1993, and in 1992, it was incorporated as a tax paying

Offer investors a safe platform for transferring and holding their bonds and shares electronically.
